Ca’ Rezzonico ist ein Palast am Canal Grande an der Mündung des Rio Barnaba im Sestiere Dorsoduro in Venedig. Heute befindet sich in dem Palast das bedeutende Museo del Settecento Veneziano.
What it is
Ca' Rezzonico is an 18th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal, now a museum devoted to Venetian life and art of that century. The main draw is the interior itself: gilded ballrooms, frescoed ceilings and period furniture that give a sense of how a wealthy Venetian family actually lived, alongside paintings by Francesco Guardi, Giambattista Tiepolo and other Venetian painters of the era. It suits travellers interested in decorative arts and domestic history, not just picture galleries.
Getting there
From central Venice (San Marco), the walk through Dorsoduro takes about 20-25 minutes. Alternatively, take a vaporetto on the Grand Canal to the Ca' Rezzonico stop, a ride of roughly 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point, followed by a short walk from the landing.

Best time to visit
Mornings tend to be calmer than afternoons, when tour groups and cruise-ship visitors are more common in Venice generally. As with most indoor Venice museums, it's a reasonable option on rainy days when outdoor sightseeing is less appealing.
