東南植物楽園（とうなんしょくぶつらくえん）は、沖縄県沖縄市知花に所在する日本の植物園、博物館相当施設である。年間を通して南国の景色が広がり、約1,300種5万株以上の植物を有する日本最大級の屋外植物園。国の登録記念物に登録されている。

If you're not renting a car, check whether a local bus route serves the area before planning around it, as connections can be indirect.

Plan for two to three hours to walk the grounds at a comfortable pace, more if you want to linger over photography or sit in the quieter garden areas.
Best time to visit
Mornings tend to be more comfortable, since Okinawa's midday heat and humidity can make extended outdoor walking tiring, especially in summer. As with most gardens, the display of flowering plants varies with the season, so what's in bloom will differ depending on when you go. It's not typically known as a heavily crowded spot, but weekends may draw more local visitors than weekdays.
Combining with nearby sights
The area around the gardens is not dense with other attractions, so this is generally a standalone half-day trip rather than one stop on a packed itinerary. Hagushi (6.9km) and the broader Ryukyu Islands and Okinawa Islands sights (around 7.5–7.6km) are within a reasonably short drive if you want to extend the day, though they're best treated as separate legs of a car-based tour of central Okinawa rather than a quick add-on.
