The Roman Agora is an archaeological site in Athens that served as a marketplace during the Roman period. Located east of the ancient Agora and north of the Acropolis, it contains the ruins of ancient commercial structures and public spaces. Visitors go here to view the architectural remains of the city's Roman-era administrative and trade center.
Getting There
The site is located within the historic center of Athens. From Monastiraki Square, it is a short walk of approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Most travelers arriving via Athens International Airport (ATH) reach the city center by metro or bus before walking to the site.
