Stoa Poikile

The Stoa Poikile is the remains of a Doric colonnade located on the north side of the ancient Agora of Athens. Historically, it served as a public porch decorated with paintings and war trophies. It is primarily visited by those interested in ancient Greek architecture and philosophy, as the site gave its name to the Stoic school of thought.
