Overview

Ħaġar Qim is a megalithic temple complex dating back to approximately 3600 BC. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stands among the world's oldest religious structures. Travellers visit to study its prehistoric stone construction, outer walls, and surviving chambers.

Getting There

From central areas such as Birkirkara, the site is reachable by car, taxi, or public bus. Driving south takes about 20 to 30 minutes, while bus routes require 45 to 60 minutes depending on transfers.
