The Triq il-Wiesgħa Tower is a small coastal watchtower located in the Birkirkara region near Żabbar, Malta. Built in 1659, it is one of the thirteen De Redin towers established to monitor the coastline and alert the island of approaching ships. After a period of damage, the structure has been restored and is now intact. Visitors go here to see a preserved example of 17th-century military architecture.

The tower is accessible from the center of Birkirkara via local transport or by taxi. The journey typically takes 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Because of its small size and function as a landmark, most visitors spend approximately 30 to 45 minutes at the site.
When to Visit
The tower is an outdoor site, so visiting during the spring or autumn avoids the peak summer heat. Early morning or late afternoon is recommended for better lighting. It does not typically experience the heavy crowds found at Malta's primary tourist hubs.
