Haedong Yonggungsa
Located on the coast of Gijang-gun, this Buddhist temple is one of the few in Korea situated directly along the shoreline. Visitors come here to see the architecture integrated into the rocky coast and to visit the site dedicated to the worship of Avalokitesvara.
Getting There
The temple is located on the eastern edge of Busan, away from the city center. From central areas like Seomyeon or Busan Station, you can reach the site via a combination of subway and bus or by taxi. The journey typically takes between 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic and the starting point.

Allow approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk through the temple grounds, navigate the stone staircases, and view the coastal scenery.
