Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosque

Located within the Cairo Citadel, this royal mosque was built in 1318 by a Mamluk sultan. It served as the site for Friday prayers for the ruling sultans. Travelers visit the site to observe Mamluk-era Islamic architecture and the historical layout of the royal complex.
