Getting There
Access is via ferry from various piers in Istanbul, such as Kabataş or Eminönü. The journey typically takes between 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the departure point and the specific island destination.

A full day is generally required to explore one of the larger islands. This allows time for the round-trip ferry travel and walking or cycling around the island's interior.
When to Visit
The islands are most accessible during the spring and summer months. Weekends and public holidays are heavily crowded with local visitors, which can lead to longer wait times for ferries and limited availability of transport on the islands. Visiting on a weekday is recommended to avoid these crowds.

Due to the geography, the islands are isolated from the mainland. While Burgaz Adası is located 2.4km away, other major landmarks are significantly further.
