Qal’at al Bahrain

This archaeological site was once the capital of the prehistoric Dilmun civilization, with layered ruins left behind by successive cultures from the Kassites to the Portuguese. Regarded as the oldest fort in the Persian Gulf, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.

Al Fateh Grand Mosque
