Arad Fort
Arad Fort is a 15th-century fortification located in the Arad area of Bahrain. Originally built to guard a separate island, the structure is now connected to Muharraq Island due to land reclamation. Visitors go here to see the preserved military architecture and the surrounding coastal landscape.
Getting There
The fort is located on Muharraq Island. From Manama city centre, it is most efficient to take a taxi or rental car. The drive typically takes 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours to walk through the fort and explore the grounds.
When to Visit
To avoid extreme heat, visit during the winter months or in the early morning and late afternoon. The site is generally less crowded on weekdays compared to weekends.
