This Macedonian Orthodox church dates back to approximately the 13th century. It is situated on a cliff overlooking Lake Ohrid. Visitors go here to see the architecture and the frescoes discovered within its dome during restoration work in 1964.

The church is located on the outskirts of the city centre. It is accessible via a walk along the lakeside path or by local transport. The journey from the centre typically takes 20 to 30 minutes on foot.
