Ayutthaya Historical Park
The former capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, founded by King U Thong in 1350, this site preserves the remains of a city that flourished until it was destroyed by Burmese forces in 1767. Wandering among the ruins, visitors can imagine the kingdom's past glory.
