What It Is

The International Mountain Museum documents Himalayan mountaineering history, geography, and the cultures of Nepal's mountain communities. The halls display climbing equipment, expedition records, geological specimens, and cultural artifacts. Located in southern Pokhara near Pokhara Airport, the museum is about 15 to 20 minutes by taxi from the city centre and Lakeside. Local buses and auto-rickshaws also service the area.
