Břevnov Monastery
Overview
Founded in 993, Břevnov Monastery is the oldest Benedictine monastery in Bohemia. Travellers visit to see its Baroque architecture, walk through the grounds and gardens, and sample beer from the country's oldest monastic brewing tradition, which operates on-site.
Getting There
From central Prague, direct tram lines run westward to the Břevnov district. The journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes from the historic centre.
