Kutisvara

Kutisvara is a small brick temple located within the Angkor Archaeological Park. Dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva during the Khmer dynasty, the site currently consists of three surviving ruined towers. Travelers visit this location to see early Khmer brick architecture and to explore a smaller, less complex site compared to the major temple complexes in the region.

Getting There

The site is located east of the Siem Reap city center. Most visitors reach the temple via tuk-tuk or rented motorbike. The journey typically takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and the specific starting point within the city.

Visit Duration

Because of its small size and limited number of structures, visitors generally spend 30 to 60 minutes exploring the ruins.

When to Visit

Early morning or late afternoon is recommended to avoid the midday heat. The site is significantly less crowded than the primary Angkor temples, making it a quieter stop during peak tourist seasons.
