Petite France

Located in the southwest of Strasbourg's Grande Île, this district preserves the city's historic old-town architecture. It was formerly served as the tanners' quarter, and visitors go here to walk through the remaining alleys and view the traditional timber-framed houses along the waterways.

The area is located within the city center. It is accessible on foot from the central shopping districts and the cathedral area, typically taking 10 to 15 minutes to reach depending on your starting point.

When to Visit
