Royal Theatre
Overview
The Royal Theatre is a performing arts venue located on White Tower Square in Thessaloniki. It serves as the winter home of the National Theatre of Northern Greece. Visitors attend to experience plays and stage productions inside an intimate auditorium offering close views of the stage.
Getting There
The theatre is located along the seafront, about a 10- to 15-minute walk from Aristotelous Square and the central district. City buses also stop near White Tower Square for convenient access.

Allow 2 to 3 hours if attending a performance. For an exterior look while walking along the waterfront, 10 to 15 minutes is enough.
When to Visit
The performance season runs mainly from autumn through spring. Most shows occur in the evening, with occasional weekend matinees. Foyers and entry areas get crowded right before curtain time, so arrive ahead of the scheduled start.
