ニシダ島
Nisida
니시다섬(Nisida)은 이탈리아 남부 플레그레 제도의 작은 화산섬이다. 나폴리 남서쪽의 포실리포 곶에서 매우 가까운 거리에 있으며, 1km 길이의 보행자 전용 도로(카메라 감시 구역)로 육지와 연결되어 있다. 이 섬은 거의 원형에 가까우며, 남서쪽 해안에는 침수된 분화구가 형성되어 포르토 파오네(Porto Paone) 만을 이루고 있다. 섬의 지름은 약 0.5 킬로미터 이며, 가장 높은 곳의 고도는 105 미터 이다.
What Nisida Is
Nisida is a small volcanic islet just off Cape Posillipo, formed by a flooded crater whose bay, Porto Paone, sits on the southwest side. The islet is almost circular, around half a kilometre across, rising to about 105 metres. It's worth visiting for the view of the crater bay and the coastline of the Gulf of Naples rather than for any built attraction on the islet itself, which has long housed a juvenile detention facility and is not generally open for wandering inside.
Getting There
Nisida is connected to the mainland by a roughly 1km pedestrian causeway monitored by traffic cameras, reachable from Bagnoli and the Posillipo coast. From central Naples it's a short taxi or bus ride toward Bagnoli, generally under 30 minutes depending on traffic, followed by a walk along the causeway. There is no direct rail stop at the islet itself.
Time to Allow
An hour or so is enough to walk the causeway, take in the bay, and head back, since access to the interior of the islet is limited.
When to Go
Go earlier in the day for calmer light on the water and fewer people on the causeway; the coastal road and viewpoints nearby draw more visitors on summer weekends.

- Vesuvius Observatory (3.2km) — a short trip further for those interested in the area's volcanic history.
- Posillipo (3.6km) — coastal walks and viewpoints over the gulf.
