Naha City Museum of History
那覇市歴史博物館 は、沖縄県那覇市久茂地1丁目のパレットくもじ内にあった博物館。2006年（平成18年）に開館。

This museum covers the history of the Ryūkyū Kingdom and the city of Naha, with a collection that includes objects connected to the Shō royal family. Getting there
The museum sits in central Naha, within walking distance of Kokusai-dōri, the city's main shopping street. If you're staying anywhere near Kokusai-dōri, it's roughly a 10-15 minute walk. From Naha Airport (OKA), the Yui Rail monorail runs into the city centre in about 15 minutes, followed by a short walk to the museum.
How much time to allow
An hour is enough for most visitors to see the exhibits at a comfortable pace. Add extra time if you plan to read through the historical displays in detail.
When to go
As an indoor museum, it's a reasonable option on a hot afternoon or during rain, when outdoor sightseeing in Naha is less appealing. It's not typically known as a high-traffic tourist site, so crowding is less of a concern than at nearby outdoor landmarks.
