至聖廟
Shiseibyō
久米至聖廟（くめしせいびょう）は、沖縄県那覇市久米の松山公園内にある孔子廟である。孔子の他に四配（顔子、子思〈孔伋〉、曾子、孟子）の像が祀られている。
What it is
Shiseibyō is a Confucian temple in Naha's Wakasa district, rebuilt in recent decades after wartime destruction. For centuries it functioned as the Ryūkyū Kingdom's principal center of Chinese learning, and its grounds include the site of the Meirindō, Okinawa's first public school. It's worth visiting for a sense of Ryūkyū's historical ties to China through education and Confucian scholarship, rather than for religious worship in the Shinto or Buddhist sense more common elsewhere in Japan.
Getting there
The temple sits close to central Naha, within walking distance of Kokusai-dori. From the city center, a taxi or short bus ride takes roughly 10-15 minutes; on foot from Kokusai-dori it's about 15-20 minutes.
How much time to allow
Most visitors spend 20-40 minutes here, enough to see the main hall and grounds and read the explanatory signage.
When to go
This is a low-traffic site compared with Naha's larger attractions, so crowding isn't usually a concern. Weekday mornings tend to be the quietest. As with most outdoor temple grounds in Okinawa, summer midday heat and humidity can make a visit less comfortable.

- Naminoue Shrine (0.2km) - a short walk away, Naha's main Shinto shrine, set on a bluff above the coast.
