Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is a Hindu temple built on a rock formation off Bali's coast, and one of the island's most famous photo spots. Since the temple itself is a sacred pilgrimage site rather than a place open for interior visits, the main draw is the view of the rock and temple silhouette surrounded by water at high tide, especially against the sunset.

National Monument of Indonesia

A national independence monument standing in the middle of Merdeka Square in Jakarta, built to honor the Indonesian people's resistance against Dutch colonial rule. It stands an impressive 132 meters tall.

Sanur Beach

Sanur is a calm-water beach on Bali's southeastern coast. An offshore coral reef blocks large waves, making it better suited to swimming, paddleboarding, and beach walks than surfing. A long boardwalk runs along the shore, ideal for walking or cycling, and since the coast faces east, many visitors come early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah is a rock-cut cave site in Gianyar near Ubud, Bali, dating to around the 9th century. It's said to have served as a place of meditation and worship where Hindu and Buddhist beliefs coexisted. Its entrance was carved into a rock face bearing a giant carved face, which gave the site its name, "Elephant Cave."
