Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is a Hindu temple built on a rock formation off Bali's coast, and one of the island's most famous photo spots. Since the temple itself is a sacred pilgrimage site rather than a place open for interior visits, the main draw is the view of the rock and temple silhouette surrounded by water at high tide, especially against the sunset.

Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah is a rock-cut cave site in Gianyar near Ubud, Bali, dating to around the 9th century. It's said to have served as a place of meditation and worship where Hindu and Buddhist beliefs coexisted. Its entrance was carved into a rock face bearing a giant carved face, which gave the site its name, "Elephant Cave."

Sanur Beach

Sanur is a calm-water beach on Bali's southeastern coast. An offshore coral reef blocks large waves, making it better suited to swimming, paddleboarding, and beach walks than surfing. A long boardwalk runs along the shore, ideal for walking or cycling, and since the coast faces east, many visitors come early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Pura Luhur

Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a Balinese Hindu temple perched on limestone cliffs at the southwestern tip of the Bukit Peninsula, overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is Bali's only sea temple and is counted among the nine directional temples believed to guard the island.

Pura Taman Ayun

Pura Taman Ayun is a Balinese temple and garden complex in Mengwi, Badung Regency, Bali. Multi-tiered meru towers stand within a moated compound, and the canals encircling the temple are an active part of subak, Bali's traditional irrigation system — rather than one grand structure, it's a place best enjoyed by strolling slowly through the interplay of water, gardens, and towers.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) is a cultural park in Ungasan, southern Bali, centered on a massive statue depicting the Hindu god Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda. Around the statue are spacious plazas, walking paths, an open-air performance venue, and viewing decks, where visitors can admire the statue up close or climb up for views over southern Bali.

Ubud Monkey Forest

Located in the Padangtegal area of Ubud, Bali, this forest is officially known as Mandala Suci Wenara Wana. As of 2023, around 1,260 long-tailed macaques inhabit the forest, and visitors can observe them up close while walking along its tree-lined paths.

Bali Museum

The Bali Museum is an art and history museum in downtown Denpasar, near Puputan Square. Several pavilions modeled on traditional Balinese temple and palace architecture are arranged around a courtyard, displaying textiles, woodcarvings, stone and bronze sculptures, paintings, and everyday objects that trace Bali's history, religion, and daily life.
