Mount Vodno rises southwest of Skopje, with the large Millennium Cross, erected in 2002, standing near its summit. It's a great spot to hike up and take in panoramic views over the city.

Church of St. John at Kaneo

Church of St. John at Kaneo is a Macedonian Orthodox church perched on a cliff overlooking Lake Ohrid in Ohrid, North Macedonia. Believed to date from around the 13th century, it is also well known for the frescoes found inside its dome during restoration work in 1964.

Millennium Cross

This 66-meter-tall cross stands atop Mount Vodno near Skopje, North Macedonia, and was erected in 2002. It's one of the tallest crosses in the world and a symbol of Skopje, offering sweeping views of the city from the summit.
