Prasat Kravan

Prasat Kravan is a 10th-century temple located within the Angkor archaeological park. It consists of five towers constructed from red brick and was dedicated to the god Vishnu. Visitors go here to observe antique brick architecture and detailed carvings from the early Angkorian period.

Getting There

The temple is located south of the Srah Srang reservoir. From Siem Reap city centre, it is typically reached by tuk-tuk or hired vehicle. The journey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and the specific route taken through the park.

Visit Duration

Because of its compact size and the limited number of structures, most visitors spend between 30 and 60 minutes exploring the site.

Timing Your Visit

To avoid the midday heat, early morning or late afternoon visits are recommended. The site is generally less crowded than the primary temples like Angkor Wat, though it can see an increase in visitors during the peak dry season from November to February.
