This Anglican cathedral is one of the oldest of its kind in Madagascar. Located on a hill in Antananarivo, it is recognized as a national heritage site. Visitors go here to see the historical architecture and to view the city from its elevated position.
Getting There
The cathedral is located in the upper part of the city. From the city centre, it is most practical to take a taxi or a hired car. Depending on traffic conditions, which can take between 15 to 30 minutes.

Allow approximately 45 to 90 minutes to explore the cathedral grounds and take in the surrounding views of the capital.
When to Visit
Visiting during the morning or late afternoon is recommended to avoid the midday heat. The site is generally quiet, though it may be busier during religious services. The dry season is the most reliable time for clear views of the city.
