Arna Church
What It Is
Arna Church is a white stone parish church in the village of Indre Arna near Bergen. Designed by architect Fredrik Hannibal Stockfleth and built in 1864, it seats roughly 280 people. Visitors come to see traditional 19th-century Norwegian stonework in a quiet setting outside the city centre.
Getting There
From central Bergen, local trains reach Arna Station in about 8 minutes. From the station, the site is a 15-minute walk or a brief bus ride. Driving via the E16 takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes.
