Ognissanti Church
The chiesa di San Salvatore di Ognissanti, or more simply chiesa di Ognissanti, is a Franciscan church located on the eponymous piazza in central Florence, region of Tuscany, Italy. Founded by the lay order of the Umiliati, the church was dedicated to all the saints and martyrs, known and unknown.

Getting there
The church sits on Piazza Ognissanti, close to the Arno river on the western edge of Florence's historic centre. From the Duomo or Piazza della Signoria it's a walk of about 15-20 minutes through the centre. From Santa Maria Novella train station it's roughly a 10-minute walk.

Most visitors spend 20-30 minutes inside, longer if you linger over the artwork or the cloister area.
When to go
Because it's a lesser-visited stop compared to Florence's headline sights, it rarely feels crowded. Mornings tend to be quieter and better lit for viewing the interior. As an active church, be mindful of services and dress modestly.
