This 19th-century cathedral stands north of Vardanants Square in Gyumri. It serves as the seat of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and was built between 1873 and 1884.

Mother Armenia, Gyumri

A large statue of a woman standing on a hill west of Gyumri, resembling the "Mother Armenia" monument in the capital, Yerevan. It was completed in 1975 by several sculptors.

A large square at the heart of downtown Gyumri, where several main avenues converge. Laid out in the 1940s after World War II, it remains a lively gathering spot to this day.
