Salman City
Salman City is a large-scale residential town constructed on reclaimed land in northwestern Bahrain. Located approximately 9 km west of Manama. Travelers visit this area to observe modern urban planning and the scale of Bahrain's public housing developments on newly created land.
Getting There
The town is located a short distance from the center of Manama. The most efficient way to reach the area is by taxi or rental car, typically taking about 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Duration of Visit
Since this is a residential development rather than a traditional tourist site, a visit of 1 to 2 hours is generally sufficient to drive through the area and view the infrastructure.
When to Visit
Visit during the cooler months from November to March to avoid the extreme heat of the summer. Early morning or late afternoon is recommended for better visibility and comfort. As it is primarily a residential zone, it does not experience typical tourist crowds, though local traffic may increase during weekday commuting hours.

- Nurana Islands (3.2 km)
