Ko Lan

Ko Lan is an island about 7.5 km off the coast of Pattaya, known for its relatively clear water and sandy beaches compared to Pattaya's crowded city beaches, making it a popular day-trip destination. Visitors come for marine activities like snorkeling, banana boats, and jet skis, or simply to swim in a quieter setting away from downtown Pattaya.

Sanctuary of Truth

The Sanctuary of Truth is an all-wood building on the outskirts of Pattaya's Naklua area, designed by Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphant around motifs from the Ayutthaya kingdom and Hindu-Buddhist cosmology. It looks like a fusion of temple and castle, built entirely from woods such as maidaeng, maitakian, maiphanchat, and teak. Its interior and exterior walls are covered throughout with wooden carvings and reliefs.

Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden

Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is a roughly 2 km² botanical garden in Chonburi Province, one of the largest garden-style attractions near Pattaya. Alongside tropical plants and landscaped gardens, it runs a gene bank dedicated to researching and collecting cycads, letting visitors combine a stroll through manicured grounds with a look at a wide variety of cycad species.

Ko Phai

Ko Phai is an uninhabited island about 21 km west of Pattaya, the largest island in the Mu Ko Phai (หมู่เกาะไผ่) archipelago. Its name is also rendered as "Bamboo Island," a translation of its Thai name. Since no one lives there, the island has almost no development, and it's visited for snorkeling and beach time thanks to its clear water and coral reefs.

Ramayana Water Park

Ramayana Water Park is a large water park located 15 km south of downtown Pattaya, about a two-hour drive from Bangkok. It's considered one of the biggest water parks in Southeast Asia, with numerous slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river, drawing families with children as well as travelers looking to enjoy water activities.

Ko Rin

Ko Rin is one of the small islands scattered off the coast of Pattaya, visited less for developed facilities like Ko Lan and more for its relatively clear water and coral reefs suited to snorkeling. With no permanent residents or large resorts, it mainly serves as a stop on day boat tours, where visitors spend time quietly along the shore or looking beneath the water's surface.

Ko Sak is a small uninhabited island off the coast of Pattaya, where coral reefs in the surrounding waters draw many travelers for snorkeling. The island itself is small and has few facilities, but its relatively clear water and quiet atmosphere make it a peaceful alternative to the nearby, more crowded Ko Lan.

Ocean 1 Tower

Ocean One was a planned supertall skyscraper for Jomtien Beach near Pattaya. Designed with 91 floors, 587 units, and a height of 367 meters, it was set to become Thailand's tallest building, but construction never began and the building was never actually built.
