Ko Klueng Badan
Ko Klueng Badan
Ko Klueng Badan is an uninhabited island located off the coast of Pattaya. Visitors go here primarily for the white sand beach and the surrounding marine environment. The area is a recognized site for scuba diving and snorkeling due to the presence of coral reefs, sea turtles, and moray eels.
Getting There
Access to the island is by boat from the Pattaya city center. The travel time varies depending on the type of vessel used, but it generally takes between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to reach the shore.
Duration of Visit
A half-day trip is typically sufficient for those visiting the beach. However, travelers engaging in scuba diving or snorkeling usually allocate a full day to explore the underwater reefs.
When to Visit
The best time to visit is during the dry season when the waters are calm and visibility for diving is higher. Because the island is uninhabited and smaller than nearby alternatives, it is generally less crowded than the main tourist hubs in the region.
