Għar Dalam
Għar Dalam is a 144-meter-long cave located on the outskirts of Birżebbuġa. It is a significant prehistoric site where fossils of animals from the Pleistocene and Holocene epochs have been discovered, providing evidence of Malta's ancient fauna.

When to Visit
The cave provides a naturally cooler environment, making it a viable option during the hot summer months. To avoid the midday heat during the approach to the site, morning visits are recommended. It does not typically experience the same level of crowding as the central monuments in Valletta.
