Fukuoka Japan Temple
This is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated in 2000. It is the second such temple built in Japan and the first in the southern part of the country, serving members from across Kyushu, Okinawa, Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, and Shikoku. Like other LDS temples, it is not a general tourist sight open for casual walk-through visits; access to the interior is generally limited to church members, though the exterior and grounds can typically be viewed from outside. Travellers interested in religious architecture or Latter-day Saint history may still want to stop by to see the building itself.

The temple sits in a residential area of Fukuoka, reachable from the city centre by taxi or local bus in around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and starting point. Travellers arriving from Fukuoka Airport (FUK) can reach the area in a similar timeframe by taxi.

Since visits are largely limited to viewing the building and grounds from outside, 15-30 minutes is enough for most travellers.
