San Francesco di Paola is a prominent church located to the west in Piazza del Plebiscito, the main square of Naples, Italy. The construction started in 1816 and ended in 1846.

The piazza and church front get busy around midday and on weekends when tour groups and locals fill the square; an early morning or early evening visit gives a calmer view of the colonnade and better light for photos. Naples summers are hot, so shade is limited in the open piazza itself.
