沖縄県立博物館・美術館（おきなわけんりつはくぶつかん・びじゅつかん）は、沖縄県那覇市おもろまちにある県立文化施設。愛称は「OkiMu（おきみゅー）」。

Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum, known locally as Okimu, is a combined museum complex that opened in 2007 in the Omoromachi district of Naha. It pairs a history and natural history museum covering Okinawan and Ryukyuan culture with a separate art museum showing work connected to the prefecture. It's worth visiting for travelers who want context on Okinawa's distinct history as the former Ryukyu Kingdom, separate from mainland Japan, including its trade links, folk culture, and the impact of World War II on the islands.
Getting there
The museum sits in Omoromachi, a redeveloped area of Naha with wide streets and office and shopping buildings. From the city center, the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) runs directly to Omoromachi Station, from which the museum is a short walk. From Naha Airport, the monorail ride to Omoromachi takes roughly 20-25 minutes.
Time to allow
Plan for at least two to three hours if you want to see both the history/natural history exhibits and the art museum. Visitors focused only on the history side can move through in under two hours.
When to go
Weekday mornings tend to be quieter, especially outside school trip season. Because much of the museum is indoors and air-conditioned, it's a reasonable option during Okinawa's hot midday hours or on rainy days.
Combine it with
The museum is close enough to pair with other Naha sights in a single outing. Tomari, about 0.8km away, and Kokusai-dōri, Naha's main shopping and dining street at 1.4km, both make easy walking additions before or after your visit. Sueyoshi-gū and Fukushūen, each around 2km away, can also be combined if you're spending a full day exploring this part of the city.
