The Pyramid of Sahure is an ancient funerary monument built for the Pharaoh Sahure of Egypt's Fifth Dynasty. Located in the Abusir area, it represents the start of pyramid construction in this specific region. Travelers visit this site to see the architectural transition of the Old Kingdom and the results of the excavations conducted by Ludwig Borchardt in the early 20th century.
