Where to Stay in Da Nang for Couples and Honeymoons
Da Nang has a beach strip, a riverside center, and a quieter southern stretch toward Hoi An. The right area depends on beach time versus city energy, and how often you'll day-trip to Hoi An or Ba Na Hills.
My Khe Beach
The main beachfront strip north of the Han River mouth, lined with resorts and a walkable promenade. Good for couples wanting the sea at the doorstep, using Grab or taxis for trips into the city or Hoi An.
Han River / City Center
The riverside district around Dragon Bridge and the night markets. Close to bridge-lighting shows, dining and nightlife, with the beach a short ride away rather than outside the door. Suits couples wanting city buzz plus beach access.
Non Nuoc / Southern Coast
A quieter resort belt near the Marble Mountains, roughly midway to Hoi An. Larger, secluded properties suit couples who prefer privacy over nightlife. Longer to central Da Nang, often shorter to Hoi An's Ancient Town.
Transport and Sights
Da Nang has no metro, so every area depends on taxis, Grab or motorbike taxis. My Khe and the center sit close to the airport; the southern coast trades that for proximity to Hoi An. Ba Na Hills is a day trip by road and cable car from any base.
What to Check Before Booking
- Whether the room is genuinely beachfront or across the coast road, since traffic separates many "beach" hotels from the sand.
- Balcony and room orientation if a sea or river view matters.
- Distance to restaurants and bars after dark if late-night rides aren't ideal.
- Airport transfer options, since availability can thin late at night.
When to Visit
The dry season, roughly February to August, draws the most couples, with beach rooms booking out earliest. September to December is wetter with fewer crowds and more availability, though storms can affect beach days.

Golden Bridge
The Golden Bridge is a 150-metre-long (490 ft) pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, in the Hòa Vang district of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself and has two giant hands, constructed of fibreglass and wire mesh, designed to appear like stone hands that support the structure.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Đà Nẵng
The Diocese of Đà Nẵng is a Roman Catholic diocese in central Vietnam. The bishop is Joseph Đặng Đức Ngân since 2016. The creation of the diocese in present form was declared January 18, 1963. The diocese covers an area of 11,690 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Huế. By 2004, the diocese of Đà Nang had about 57,870 believers, 68 priests and 38 parishes. Sacred Heart Cathedral in Da Nang has been assigned as the Cathedral of the diocese.

The Japanese Bridge is a footbridge with a temple atop, located in Hội An, Da Nang, Vietnam. It dates from the late 16th century by Japanese merchantmen but successive renovations and repairs on the bridge have occurred throughout the period to the modern day.
