Where to base yourself for a pool villa or resort stay in Da Nang
Pool villa properties cluster along three coastal stretches, each with a different pace and distance from the city.
My Khe and My An Beach
Closest to downtown and the Han River bridges. Resorts here are a short ride from restaurants and the airport, good for beach time without giving up city access. It's the most built-up stretch, so villas sit closer together than further south.
Non Nuoc Beach, near Marble Mountains
South of My Khe, this is where the larger resort and pool-villa complexes sit, set back from the road with more grounds per property. It suits travelers who want privacy over walkability, and sits roughly midway between the city and Hoi An's Ancient Town.
Son Tra Peninsula
North of the main beach, backing onto Son Tra Mountain. More secluded and nature-facing, but further from restaurants and nightlife, with limited road lighting after dark.
Transport and sights
There's no metro; taxis, Grab and motorbike taxis cover all three areas. Grab shows fares upfront and is usually cheaper than a street taxi. Ba Na Hills needs a car for the mountain road; Hoi An is easiest from Non Nuoc or by fixed-fare taxi.
What to check before booking
- Whether the pool is heated — wet-season temperatures (roughly October–January) make unheated pools cold.
- Whether the pool is private and screened, or visible from neighboring units.
- Distance from the villa to the beach and main building — some resorts need a shuttle.
- What's included versus extra: breakfast, butler service, kitchen stocking.
When to visit
February–May brings reliable dry weather and lower demand. June–August is peak, with domestic travel pushing villas to book out well in advance. September–November carries storm risk that can disrupt pool use; December–January is cooler, wetter and quieter.

Golden Bridge
The Golden Bridge is a 150-metre-long (490 ft) pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, in the Hòa Vang district of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself and has two giant hands, constructed of fibreglass and wire mesh, designed to appear like stone hands that support the structure.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Đà Nẵng
The Diocese of Đà Nẵng is a Roman Catholic diocese in central Vietnam. The bishop is Joseph Đặng Đức Ngân since 2016. The creation of the diocese in present form was declared January 18, 1963. The diocese covers an area of 11,690 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Huế. By 2004, the diocese of Đà Nang had about 57,870 believers, 68 priests and 38 parishes. Sacred Heart Cathedral in Da Nang has been assigned as the Cathedral of the diocese.

Japanese Bridge
The Japanese Bridge is a footbridge with a temple atop, located in Hội An, Da Nang, Vietnam. It dates from the late 16th century by Japanese merchantmen but successive renovations and repairs on the bridge have occurred throughout the period to the modern day.
