チマ・オヴェスト

トレ・チーメ・ディ・ラヴァレード(ドイツ語名ドライ・ツィンネン)は、イタリア北東部のセスト・ドロミティにそびえる3つの尖峰です。西から東へチマ・オヴェスト、チマ・グランデ、チマ・ピッコラの順に並び、城壁のようにそびえる独特の姿からドロミティを代表する山群の一つとされています。

ドラーヴァ川

ドラーヴァ川はドロミテ地域を流れる川で、この区間はイタリア南チロルのインニヒェン近郊、プステリア渓谷に源を発し東へ流れる、その最上流部にあたります。ここで目にするのは大きな滝や渓谷といった劇的な景観ではなく、山あいの谷を縫うように流れる澄んだ穏やかな流れと、その周りに広がる草地や森です。

モンテ・チヴェッタ

モンテ・チヴェッタは、イタリア・ベッルーノ県にあるドロミーティを代表する主要峰の一つで、ドロミーティのシンボルとされる山です。特にタイボン・アゴルディーノ側の谷から望む北西壁が有名で、ほぼ垂直にそびえる巨大な岩壁が谷全体を圧倒する景観をつくり出しています。

ミズリーナ湖

ミズリーナ湖はカドーレ地方最大の天然湖で、標高1,754メートルに位置しています。周囲2.6キロメートルは気軽に一周でき、湖の向こうにカディーニ山群とソラピス山群が連なる眺めは写真スポットとしても人気です。水深は最大5メートルと浅く、水面は澄んで穏やかに見えます。

アンテラオ山

アンテラオは、イタリア北東部ドロミテ東部地域で最も高い山で、コルティナ・ダンペッツォの南東、カドーレ地方にそびえています。周囲の峰々の中でも独立してそびえ立つ姿が目を引き、登山や高山トレッキングを目的に訪れる旅行者が多くいます。頂上まで登らなくても、山麓のトレイルを歩けば、ドロミテ特有の石灰岩の断崖や尖峰の地形を間近に見ることができます。

ブラーエス湖

プラーガー・ヴィルトゼー(ラーゴ・ディ・ブライエス)は、イタリア南チロル、ドロミーティのプラーグス谷にある自然湖です。深いターコイズブルーの水面の奥にクロダ・ロッサ山群の岩壁がそびえる景観で知られ、湖畔には一周できる遊歩道があり、大きな体力を使わずに湖全体を巡ることができます。伝統的な木造ボートを借りて、湖上から周囲の山々を眺めることもできます。

クローンプラッツ

クロンプラッツは、イタリア北部南チロルのドロミーティ地域にある山で、標高2,275mです。ロープウェイやゴンドラで山頂まで気軽に登れることから、冬はスキーリゾートとして、夏はハイキングや眺望を楽しむ場所として親しまれています。山頂にはメスナー山岳博物館(MMMコロネス)もあり、登山以外の見どころもあります。

アルタ・バディア

アルタ・バディアは、イタリア北部ドロミテ山群のヴァル・バディア上流に位置する山岳地域で、コルバラ、バディア、ラ・ヴァルの3つの村にまたがっています。ドロミテ・スーパースキー・エリアの一部であり、冬はスキーやスノーボード、夏はハイキングやマウンテンバイクを楽しむために訪れる人が多い場所です。

街なかの移動

地下鉄・鉄道: No metro. In the mountains, rail only runs along parts of the valleys.
バス・路面電車: In the summer season, intercity buses link the main passes and lakes. Frequency varies a lot by season and routes thin out in winter, so always check the timetable for your dates. Some places, such as Lago di Braies, restrict cars in peak season — a bus or shuttle can be the easier option.
交通カード・支払い: Regional transit cards (such as the Mobilcard) exist, and some accommodation hands out a guest card — worth asking at check-in.
空港から市内へ: Venice Marco Polo is the usual gateway. Seasonal buses run from the airport to Cortina; otherwise it is a drive.
レンタカー: You really need a car to cover the Dolomites. Pass roads are winding, and winter brings snow chain or winter tyre requirements on some stretches. Even in summer, car parks at popular spots fill early, so an early start helps.
